- The compressor is a crucial component responsible for compressing the refrigerant gas. The compression process increases the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant. The high-pressure, high-temperature gas is then transported to the condenser coil for heat dissipation. The condenser coil is located outside the refrigeration unit and is responsible for releasing the heat absorbed by the refrigerant during the compression process. As the refrigerant releases heat, it undergoes a phase change from a high-pressure gas to a high-pressure liquid.
