Product Description :

• It is a mechanical gasket designed to seal around a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Its primary function is to prevent the leakage of lubricants such as oil or grease from the bearings or gears housed in a machine or mechanical system. Radial shaft seals also help to prevent the ingress of contaminants such as dirt, dust, and water into the system, which could otherwise cause damage and reduce the efficiency and lifespan of the equipment.
• They play a critical role in sealing rotating or reciprocating shafts in machinery, preventing leakage of lubricants and ingress of contaminants. Their design and material selection are tailored to specific operating conditions to ensure reliable performance and durability of the equipment they protect.

They have a conventional sealing lip made of elastomer. A garter spring in the seal and a non-contacting auxiliary lip optimize the sealing against the shaft also in polluted environment.
