Schneider Electric LRE14 Thermal Overload Relay
Schneider Electric LRE14 Thermal Overload Relay
Product Description :
- It is an electrical device used to protect electric motors from damage caused by excessive current or overloading. It is typically installed in motor control circuits and operates by monitoring the current flowing through the motor.
- They sense the current passing through the motor using built-in current transformers or shunt trips. They continuously monitor the current to detect any abnormal or excessive currents that could indicate an overload condition.
- It contain a bimetallic heating element or a heater coil that is directly or indirectly heated by the current passing through it. As the current increases, the heating element generates heat, causing it to expand.
- It play a critical role in protecting electric motors from damage due to overloading, phase failure, or other electrical faults. They are often integrated with motor starters or contactors to provide comprehensive motor protection.
